(London Diary) - No Time For Thought

Things have been quite dynamic ever since I got to London. I met so many great people from all over the globe, including New Zealand, Scandinavia and Costa Rica.

What I like about this place is that it seems everyone is involved in some creative medium. There are so many people who play in bands or DJ, so many who are into photography or design. It is such a contrast to my hometown, where there are a handful of us who are really into creating and all of us more or less know each other.

I parted from my friend’s place not long ago. He was kind enough to host me for 3 weeks until I found my own place. It was a bittersweet farewell, but it wasn’t a goodbye, it was a ‘‘see-you-soon’’.

There are greenery, squirrels and even a stone Buddha when I now take a look outside my window, but sometimes I still miss those warehouse roofs, the smell of coffee in the morning and having a friend to watch Hilda with (although my current flatmate is lovely too).
